Holding the Horizon

As the leaves turn and the air grows crisp, I find myself reflecting on the beauty of this season. The soft rustle of leaves and the gentle sounds of nature provide a much-needed sense of calm during this time of transition.

I crave the wide skies and the peaceful views that allow for moments of stillness. There’s something awe-inspiring about the horizon, where the colors of autumn blend into the clouds and mountains—so close, yet so far.

Grief often brings us to these horizon points, where we feel the presence of our loved ones while grappling with their absence. Memories can bridge the distance, but the reality of separation can wash over us, grounding us in this mortal world.
